Our refrigerator has been unplugged for a few hours now. Luckily an apartment that is only a few doors down is vacant, and the manager let us have a key (so we only have to go down a few doors to get to our milk!). I guess it's a lot better than the olden days, and at least we have running water (I'm remembering when we didn't have water for a week in LaPine, so it could be worse).

    I remember when we didn't have water here for a little while, on several occasions. I think I would have to pick no water if it was short term. Long term I would have to pick no fridge. Of course, I would like to just have both :)
