Jacob told me that someone was telling him that he was dumb. I told him that it's ok, they don't know what they're talking about, your awesome. He then said, "yeah I said, guys, we need to stop saying dumb."

I thought, oh, what a nice little boy I have, and then he said:

"Yeah, then I pushed them into the wall and they died."

Jacob found a magical green pumpkin that makes all your dreams come true (except the scary ones, and the one that your at school in only your underwear...).

Allison, Hunter, and Grace came over for a couple of days this last weekend (they went home yesterday). It was really fun seeing them and the kids had a fun time running around together. We went to a pumpkin patch too; I love Ethan's sour face in this one:

One night last week, when I was putting Jacob and Ethan to bed, Jacob starting crying (he was really tired). I asked him why he was crying and he said that Ethan had one of his airplanes and he wanted it. I suggested that he do the usual thing, go and find a toy that Ethan might want and try to trade him. Jacob tried several toys to which Ethan responded "don't want to" to each. Finally Jacob broke back down and started crying again. I told him it was alright as he already had an airplane in his bed, to which he said "but Ethan doesn't even like airplanes, he likes race cars." Which is so true... thinking back, I wonder why he was playing with that airplane.

While watching conference this last weekend, at one point Ethan wanted a toy that Jacob had. We told Ethan that Jacob was playing with it and that he should go and find a different toy. Within a minute, Jacob went and told Ethan to come and open a present, it was the toy Ethan wanted wrapped up in a blanket. While giving Jacob a hug I told him that that was really nice of him and that he was a really good big brother, he then turned to me and said "you have really cute kids."

It's only the first week of class (i.e. the easiest week) and I missed basketball tonight as I had to put in a couple of hours of work :(.

News flash (related to basketball): my big toe nail has almost completely fallen off, I hope it grows back...

First day of class was a little scary... I wonder how much I have to do to get a B- (which is the lowest I can go while fulfilling my requirement). I will say this, the 100 pages (of the 130 assigned) I've read have been interesting.

Our home teacher came over today. He doesn't know how great he is as an example of a disciple of Christ. Hmm, still another 47.75 hours left for me to do my home teaching (well, visit one family we missed)...
